Roberto Barros

Roberto Barros is a Brazilian guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer.
At the age of 17, Roberto was admitted to the School of Music and Technology (EM&T)
Subsequently, he graduated and post-graduated in the style jazz, fusion.
In 2004 he joined Souza Lima Berklee College.
Roberto is also a graduate of LEM – Linguagem e Estruturação Musical – an advanced course in melodic, harmonic and counterpoint reading.
For more than 15 years he has been at the head of the Roberto Barros Institute, acting as professor and director.
In 2014, he won with the Catholic band, Estação 12, the award, “Praise the Lord”, known as the Catholic Oscar, as the best Catholic rock album in Latin America.
In 2016, he received the TOP OF MIND award in the Baixada Santista region – as the best guitar teaching, recognizing the professionalism and excellence of the method developed and taught by the Roberto Barros Guitar Institute.
In the year 2017, he was invited by one of the greatest heavy metal vocalists of all time, Edu Falaschi, to join his solo band.
Alongside the band, Roberto Barros traveled throughout Brazil and several places in the world, such as Europe and Japan.
In the years of 2018, 2019 and 2020, Roberto Barros was elected the second best guitarist in Brazil, an election held by one of the most respected magazines in the world, Revista Roadie Crew.
In 2019, Roberto Barros recorded alongside Edu Falaschi and Aquiles Priester, the biggest Heavy Metal DVD ever made in Brazil, which was the first DVD of the vocalist, Edu Falaschi, in addition to all the mega structure of the recording, the DVD featured with emblematic and historic participation of one of the greatest names in classical music of all times, Maestro João Carlos Martins, accompanied by his orchestra, Bachiana Filarmônica Sesi-Sp.
Roberto Barros, has been cited as one of the big revelations of the guitar world, known for his virtuosity and extremely clean executions.
In 2021, Roberto Barros was part of the great release of Vocalist, Edu Falaschi, the album, Vera Cruz, in this album Roberto was: producer, guitarist, co-author of 3 songs (Face Of The Storm, Land Ahoy, The Ancestry) and arranger of the entire album together with Edu Falaschi. Still in 2021, the guitarist signs with the largest brand in the world specializing in multscale guitars, ORMSBYGUITARS, becoming the first Brazilian to be part of the brand’s team.
In 2022, the guitarist is elected the best national guitarist according to the readers of Roadie Crew Magazine, the award is given in 2022 but refers to the year 2021.
Currently, the guitarist is composing and recording the instrumental album in a duo with drum genius Aquiles Priester.
